Lana Del Rey debuted her brand spanking new single “Ride” on Tuesday (September 25, 2012). The latest track is a long, dreamy ballad that showed off the singer’s raspy vocals against haunting instrumentation, swelling into full view during the chorus. Miss Del Rey wrote “Ride” with the help of Justin Parker, the same guy who collaborated on the "Born To Die" title track and helped Lana pen her first hit “Video Games.” The quirky singer didn’t disappoint her fans while offering a very remarkable single produced by Rick Rubin at Shangri-La Studios in Malibu, California. “Ride” is the lead track of the upcoming re-release, Born to Die: The Paradise Edition, which features eight new tracks. The complete set will be available as a stand-alone digital and CD release titled “Paradise” and hit stores on November 13th, 2012.
Lana Del Rey appears on the cover art of the official first single from “Born To Die: The Paradise Edition.” The picture features Lana sitting on a tire swing, sporting an acid wash denim jacket, daisy dukes and cowboy boots with a desert scene behind her.
The “Video Games” singer-songwriter is seen arriving at Heathrow airport in London, England on Monday (September 24, 2012).
Lana Del Rey carries a cup of coffee as she navigates through the terminal. The hip pop singer keeps things casual in dark wash jeans that she teams with a baggy black jumper. Lana accessorizes with white sneakers and completes her package with a yellow headband, which adds a little colour to her wintry attire.
The velvet-voiced siren looks slightly sombre at the airport. Lana then hits the 25th night of live music at Camden's Roundhouse venue as part of the iTunes Festival on Tuesday (September 25, 2012). Also attending the star-studded gala are JLS, Plan B, Jessie J, Example and One Direction.
Lana Del Rey is dressed casually but still beautiful as she lands in London. Her new album “The Paradise Edition” is available for pre-order now. The complete will be in three formats: double disc, digital and Deluxe Box set.
